I am sad on Kindra’s behalf. Our dishwasher gradually became less and less effective, recently reaching the point where it wouldn’t clean at all. There were times, in fact, it seemed to make dishes dirtier than they were when you put them in. So a couple of weeks ago Kindra sprung for a new one.

We kept the grandson Liam Easter weekend. We went and picked him up Friday afternoon at our daughter and son-in-law’s house in Norman and took him back Sunday afternoon. We had him two nights, all of Saturday and a part of Sunday.

1. Update on Grants A. T-Set’s, David Smith & Sheri Ripley notified City Hall that the Town has received the Top level of Gold status for a dividend of $14,000 to be spent on the parks.

Bench warrant issued in OKC tractor case

A warrant has been issued for a Chandler area man after equipment allegedly stolen from a job site was discovered on his property. Shannon Wayne Nicholas, 51, was formally charged on April 6 in Lincoln County District Court with receive/conceal stolen construction/farm equipment.

Stroud’s Walk of Honor banners are back up on Main Street. On a pretty day take a walk down Main Street and read the names on our banners. Some of them are currently serving our country, some are retired, and some are deceased.
