Lincoln County Commissioners have approved two I.T. quotes to connect three county offices to the new I.T. infrastructure.
The approval came during a special meeting held last week.
Lincoln County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained, “Both quotes are from Apprentice in Tulsa. One is for $15,210 to connect the Commissioners’ office and the OSU Extension office to the new infrastructure. The other is for $12,672 to connect the Treasurer’s office to the infrastructure.”
On another issue, Wagnon said commissioners took no action to approve administrative settlements and easements to be paid prior to receiving original documentation.
“The county is not supposed to pay anything until the goods and services are in hand,” Wagnon said.
“To pay them ahead of time would violate the law,” she added.
“The settlement was on a project,” she noted.
Wagnon pointed out that Assistant District Attorney Greg Wilson is to contact the attorneys of the other parties involved.
Commissioners approved a county deed and a Treasurer’s Transcript of proceedings for the sale of county property located at Block 1, lots 5-6 of the South Side Addition in Stroud in District 1, the county clerk said. She related that Santoya Godwin purchased the property for $250.
Commissioners also adopted a resolution approving a reimbursement to the General Fund Account authorizing the reimbursement to the Sheriff’s General Fund Personnel Services Account with money from the County Claims of Oklahoma.
Wagnon said a county employee who suffered a work injury was not paid Worker’s Compensation Benefits, but instead used his personal vacation, sick and comp time and sick time donated by three co-workers.
The resolution states $6,976.53 would have been paid to the injured employee. County Claims of Oklahoma has issued a check in that amount to replenish the benefits of the injured employee and the benefits of those of his donating coworkers.
The amounts each received were based on calculated percentages.
