Teresa Louise Nolin, 41, of Wellston is charged with three counts of embezzlement.
While working at Freedoms Alarms, Nolin double cashed three checks on three separate occasions totaling $4,528.34 into her Capitol One Credit Card account while simultaneously cashing the check at a local WalMart, according to the affidavit filed by Lincoln County Sheriffs Deputy Chuck Brewer.
Nolin would then change the records in the Quickbooks program to reflect that the check had been made to a company vendor.
Brewer was assigned to the investigation and met with the general manager Dale Jackson who told him he has noticed the financial division of the company that Nolin was in control of was not meeting the expectations for profits.
According to the affidavit, an audit was conducted and many other financial discrepancies where found within Nolin’s financial control.
Brewer contacted Nolin and informed her he was conducting a criminal investigation and tried to schedule an interview, but she was unavailable.
A bench warrant was issued Thursday, Nov. 5.
