Chandler Police

The Chandler Police Department responded to the following.

Saturday, Feb. 13

Ofc. Hawkins stopped a driver on Hwy. 66 for failure to maintain a lane of travel and driving left of center. Clayton Sheets was arrested for public intoxication, failure to maintain a lane of travel, transporting an open container of beer and transporting a loaded firearm while under the influence of alcohol. The vehicle was impounded.

Ofc. Mustard attempted to stop a driver at First St. and Sandy Lane for driving left of center. The driver stopped at First St. and Turner Road. Rita A. Barber was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Ofc. Mustard was dispatched to an apartment on Brandon Road in reference to a domestic disturbance that had previously occurred. James M. Boyd was arrested at a residence on Price Street and charged with domestic violence by strangulation.

Stroud Police

There was no report received from the Stroud Police Department before press time.
