The American Legion Auxiliary treated Legion members to an early Christmas gift on Friday, December 17, 2020 at Stroud’s local McDonald’s. The Auxiliary purchased breakfast for veterans and their wives and McDonald’s donated their drinks. The lobby was closed to patrons but the Auxiliary was allowed to use it for this event with members eating at varied times, wearing masks and practicing social distancing due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. Auxiliary members serving as hostesses were Julie Bivin, Linda Waller, Aleta Smalley and Diana Reed. Legion members attending were Steve Bivin, David Carroll, John and Judy Palmer, Arthur and Betty Thompson, Delmar and Sylvia Summers, Earnest and Kathy Redford, Carl Robertson. Chuck Quinn and Lynn and Nina Harrison. Those attending received a candy cane wishing them a Merry Christmas.
