Candidates for Directors in four Lincoln County Fire Protection Districts can file their Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m., Monday, July 6, and continuing Tuesday and Wednesday, according to County Election Board Secretary Melissa Stambaugh.
Stambaugh said the official filing period ends at 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 8.
All candidates can file at the Lincoln County Election Board office in the courthouse at 811 Manvel Avenue, Suite 15, in Chandler.
The fire protection district positions at stake will be filled at the General Election scheduled Nov. 3, 2020.
Candidates can file for the following offices: Central Lincoln County Fire Protection District---Director – 6 year term; Jacktown Fire Protection District---Director – 6 year term; and Southwest Lincoln County Fire Protection District---Director – 6 year term.
