Construction on the east wall of the Lincoln County Fairgrounds has finished.
Miller Fence and Construction broke ground and started construction Jan. 4.
Lincoln County Fairboard President Steve Flowers said the project consisted of building the wall, pouring footers, adding a fence, putting three overhead doors down the side of the wall and several handicap accessible doors in as well.
The total cost of the project was $23,876. Olabon Fouquet donated $11,643.18. Canadian Valley Electric donated $5,000.
To honor and show their appreciation for his donation, the Lincoln County Fairboard dedicated June 15, 2019 to Olabon Fouquet.
Flowers said the next project to be tackled at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds is to construct the south wall.
After that, the next project in line is to add electrical, which includes 15 foot fans and LED lighting.
