Davenport approves new computer accounting system

The city of Davenport will have a new digital accounting system soon. At their meeting, Tuesday, June 9, the Davenport Board of Trustees approved paying half the payment of 4,200 dollars for Clerkbooks – a computer accounting system – now.

The board also approved paying up to 2,000 dollars for two new computers and the payment of 1,900 dollars to Dean Jensen for the computer work of installing new computers, setting up Quickbooks/Clerkbooks, and training of both.
