Ofc. Berry stopped a driver on 7 th St. and Steele Ave. for a non-working headlamp. A citation was issued for no insurance and the vehicle was impounded.
Tuesday, May 25
Ofc. Berry stopped a driver on Manvel Ave. John Clark was arrested for improper display, failure to pay taxes due to state, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. The vehicle was impounded.
Ofc. Phipps responded to a three-vehicle collision at Hwy. 18 and Thunderbird Road involving Kern Lee Whiteaker, Margaret Troyer and Emmy N. Haynes, all of Chandler. Whiteaker was arrested for driving while revoked, inattentive driving resulting in a collision and following too closely. His vehicle was impounded. The other drivers and vehicles were allowed to leave the scene.
