Voting ‘no’

Dear Editor:

We have had a bad year with the pandemic. A lot of people are out of work and struggling. I do not think it is a good time to put more burdens on the average citizens. Citizens cannot afford necessities like gas and groceries. With the prices of fencing and building materials, every industry is suffering. Farmers are struggling to make ends meet with the low prices on cattle, high feed prices and high prices on diesel for their equipment.

Our roads are in desperate need of repair. The roads tear up our vehicles and are at times impassable. Our tax money should be used more efficiently to fix the country roads.

Ambulances cannot even drive on the roads at times!

Citizens of this county should not be forced to pay higher taxes to for law breakers to be in a new jail, while we are suffering to make ends meet and driving on horrible roads.

Vote no on July 13. Make our commissioners keep our money where we can profit from it.

Law abiding citizens pay all the taxes, law breakers do not.
