Sarah (Ramirez) Vasquez was born April 6, 1925, in Oklahoma City and died Thursday, June 24, 2021, in Oklahoma City. She was 96 years old.
Vasquez, the daughter of Vincent and Regina Ramirez, married Bernon Vasquez on November 29, 1947.
She worked at El Chico and Roundup Café.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one granddaughter and eight siblings.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Ben and Donna Vasquez of Cookson, Okla., Vicente Vasquez and Carmelita Pidgue, both of Oklahoma City and Robert and Stacy Vasquez of Chandler; four grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; her sister Mary Smith; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. Burial followed at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
