A Stroud woman suffered facial injuries recently during an altercation with a man who now faces two felonies and a misdemeanor.
Daniel Kyle Lee, 35, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court with aggravated assault and battery and domestic abuse assault and battery. He also faces a misdemeanor of preventing a person from making an emergency telephone call.
A $25,000 bench warrant has been issued for his arrest.
In Count 1, Lee is charged with striking the woman with his fists, causing bone fractures in her face.
Count 2 alleges he struck the woman on the head and body with his hands and fists.
The misdemeanor states he intentionally and forcibly took a cell phone from Price who was trying to make an emergency 911 phone call.
Supplemental information filed by prosecutors shows he has at least three prior convictions.
On Sep. 10, 2014, Lee was convicted in Tulsa County District Court with knowingly concealing stolen property, a felony, and the court handed him a one-year term.
In February of that same year, in Creek County District Court he was convicted of domestic abuse-assault and battery, a misdemeanor and given a sentence of one year.
On June 10, 2010, in Lincoln County District Court he was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a felony, and the court sentenced him to five years in prison.
