Jimmy D. Pickett “JD” was born December 2, 1944 in Russell, Kansas to Maxine Goodman and William Pickett. He was the oldest of 13 children. He was a Stroud resident for many years and was a local mechanic.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother Maxine Goodman, his father William Pickett, son Jimmy Pickett, sisters Joyce Anast and Bobbie Sears and two granddaughters Kaitlyn Pickett and Jordan Threlkeld. Jimmy is survived by wife Lisa Pickett of Stroud,
Jimmy is survived by wife Lisa Pickett of Stroud, son Richard Threlkeld and wife Christy of Kendrick, daughter Chandra Hernandez and husband Marc of Depew; Grandchildren Emilia Phipps, Brayden Threlkeld, Gavin Threlkeld, Ashlyn Threlkeld, and Jaxon Threlkeld and many other family and friends.
