Stroud scored in every period and kept alive its hopes of a first-round playoff game at home with a 26-6 win over Wewoka Friday night.
The Tigers are 5-1 in district play and tied with this week’s opponent - Okemah - for second place in District A-7. Beat the Panthers and Stroud will open the playoffs at home.
The Tigers stuck first against Wewoka, getting a 31-yard run from Dylan Collins to go up 6-0 less than four minutes into the game.
Zeb Blancarte ran 20 yards for a score in the second period and led 12-6 at the half.
Blancarte scored again the third period on an 8-yard carry and Dylan Baker closed out the scoring with a 7-yard midway through the fourth quarter.
