R.D. Reynolds of Meeker was born August 24, 1937, in Foster, Okla. He died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the age of 84 years.
Reynolds, the son of Oscar and Ollie (Cole) Reynolds, married Basima Reynolds on January 24, 1956.
He was a 1956 graduate of Duncan High School in Duncan, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his daughter Ginger and son Lenny, two greatgrandsons, a great-great granddaughter, his brother Cliff and sister Florence.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Kathy of Granbury, Texas, Rickey of Shawnee, Okla., and Roger of Broken Arrow, Okla.; his daughter and son-in-law Deloris (DeAnn) and Keith of Shawnee; his daughter-in-law Sue of Shawnee; 19 grandchildren; 34 greatgrandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers C.F. and his wife Betty of Laurel, Miss., and Lonnie Reynolds of Odessa, Texas; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Family of Faith Church in Shawnee with burial following at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker. Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Meeker.
