The Lincoln County Assessor’s office will take exemption applications and personal property assessments Monday, Jan. 3 through Tuesday, March 15, 2022, according to Assessor Jackie Holcomb.
Reminders will be mailed to property owners on Thursday, Dec. 30. Property owners can then assess in person or by mail.
Assessment business can be done in Wellston on Jan. 3-4, Avery on Jan. 5, Tryon and Carney on Jan. 6 and Agra on Jan. 7. Assessor personnel will be in Prague Jan. 11, 12 and 13; then in Stroud on Jan. 18-19. On Jan. 20 they will be in Davenport and Kendrick. Local visits will be completed the week of Jan. 24-25 at Meeker, followed by visits to Kickapoo Friends Mission on Jan. 26 and Sparks and Mammoth Baptist Church on Jan. 27.
In addition to continuing the county visits, the assessor’s office in the Lincoln County Courthouse is open from 8:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office will be open 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 5, and Saturday, March 12.
