Lincoln County commissioners held a brief, special meeting recently to appoint Fair Board members from Districts 2 and 3.
County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said District 2 Commissioner Marlon Miller appointed Wayne Rozell to a two-year term. “He will need to run for election in 2024,” she said.
District 3 and County Commission Chairman Lee Doolen appointed Mitchell Armitage to a one year term and Bryan Jones to a two-year term, Wagnon stated.
Wagnon said the filing period for this year’s Fair Board election will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily from Jan. 24-28 in the County Clerk’s Office.
The election also will be in her office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 15.
