Chandler Junior High and High School vocal music students recently participated in the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association Vocal Solo and Ensemble contest at Tonkawa.
Seventeen of the high school students made Superior and/or Excellent scores, which qualifies them to take their solo or ensemble piece to state competition in April.
According to school officials it is the most students CHS has taken to State for competition.
Participating high school students were Shayla Peery, Alexis Juel, Lory Dugger, Destiney Stewart, Laryssa Nunn, Nathaniel Nunn, Sarah Goodman, Trinity Wright, Brittany Robbins, Shayla Robbins, Colton Burbach, Elizabeth Myers, Grace Myers, Emilia Phipps, Ian Radcliffe, Madelyn Ledford, Skyler Araujo and Trever Spruill.
Junior high students participating were Royanna Berry, Bailey Treanor, Aysia Wrenn, Adrianna Rivera, Eli Smithey, Weston Miller, Allison Radcliffe, Elijah Brown, Hailee Herndon and Madilynn Smith.
