Lincoln County Commissioners

Lincoln County’s elected officials voted this week to approve the updated 2022 Employee Personnel Policy Handbook.

Following the vote, that came during the County Commissioners meeting, the elected officials also voted for a resolution to adopt the 2022 handbook.

County officials have spent some time, even holding special meetings, to work on the handbook preparing it for approval.

County commissioners opened several bids on a new camera system in the courthouse and county jail. After opening the bids, they tabled them until the next commissioners meeting.

Following a brief discussion on authorizing the election of the standard allowance for revenue replacement for the county from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds, commissioners tabled the item until their representative from the firm assisting them with it could be there with them.

Commissioners took no action on an easement for Commercial Street in Warwick from Chase Pittman.

They approved ARPA expenditure documentation for OPEH&W Surcharge.

In other business, commissioners:

Approved the Treasurer’s Emergency Operation Policy and the Treasurer’s Employee Personnel Policy.

Held a public hearing to discuss and receive input from the public regarding a proposal to vacate the right-of-way located at 3340 Road between the West Turnpike entrance and Route 66 in the city of Wellston.

No one spoke during the hearing.

Approved an amendment to a resolution regarding the self-funded Equipment Revolving Fund.

Adopted a resolution disposing of Equipment for District 1 and the County Clerk’s Office.

Approved Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Certificates of Compliance for Eternal Spring Garden, Humble Roots LLC, Joe Hoang LLC and Third State LLC.

Also approved the OMMA renewal of Certificate of Compliance for D’Vine Root LLC.
