Six charges in arrest

Six charges, one felony and five misdemeanors, have been filed after Stroud police arrested a driver during a traffic stop.

Formal charges were filed April 7 in Lincoln County District Court against Daniel Frank Kozlowski, 43, of Bristow.

A $5,000 bond has been set for Kozlowski and his initial appearance will be 1:30 p.m. on Apr. 28.

The felony filed against him charges Kozlowski of unlawful possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute. He is accused on April 2 of possessing marijuana as a classified Schedule 1 controlled dangerous substance at SH 99 and the Turner Turnpike with the intent to distribute.

Count 2, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a misdemeanor, charges him on the same day of having methamphetamine, classified as a Schedule II CDS.
