Nothing makes a statement in the drop-off line like showing up in a sheriff’s car or a fire truck. Such was the case Thursday at Park Road Elementary School in Chandler. In March, the school had its annual Quilt Auction and Bingo Night fundraiser. During the event, several things were auctioned off including quilts that each class put together, an opportunity to ride to school with a police officer or ride to school in a fire truck, and an opportunity to become the principal for the day.
