Monday, April 18

Ofc. Malphrus and Ofc. Barry responded to a minor two-vehicle accident in Chandler.

Tuesday, April 19

Lt. Phipps, Ofc. Malphrus and ofc. Berry took Paul Randell Mitchell into custody on a Lincoln County District Court warrant, after Phipps visually made contact with him in Chandler.

Friday, April 22

Ofc. Mustard conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that’s paper tag did not appear to have writing on it and arrested the driver for driving without a license.

Ofc. Mustard approached the driver of a red SUV with expired tags. He learned that the driver’s license was suspended and there was maurijuana in his vehicle without a valid medical marijuana card. The driver was arrested, the car was impounded and the marijuana seized.

Saturday, April 23

Ofc. Mustard was dispatched to the Manvel and 15th intersection for a vehicle collision where one of the vehicles, an older Chevrolet pickup, had left the scene of the accident. The remaining vehicle had extensive front end damage, and the driver refused an ambulance, and Mus tard was unable to locate the pickup truck.

Monday, April 25

Ofc. Wells took a vandalism/attempted burglary report regarding a cut lock on a Shine Solar LLC storage room.

Tuesday, April 26

Lt. Phipps and Ofc. Berry were dispatched to Chandler Friend’s Church in regard to someone possibly living in the youth building basement. They found Joseph Plunkett in the cellar and told him to come to the front of the church. Plunkett started walking away and Berry placed him in handcuffs. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was found in Plunkett’s clothes and Phipps found more in the cellar. Plunkett was arrested for drug/narcotic violations and drug equipment violations.

Friday, April 29

Ofc. Batman responded to a vehicle collision involving Sarah Schonder Gouda, of Sparks, and Danielle Taylor, of Chandler.

Sunday, May 1

Ofc. Mustard conducted a traffic stop in Chandler and arrested the driver for driving without headlights and driving under the influence of marijuana.
