The full high school football season kicks off this week with Lincoln County’s two biggest rivalries.
The Chandler Lions host ancient rival Stroud at 7 p.m. Friday at Joe Telford Stadium and the Meeker Bulldogs will head east on state Highway 62 to inaugurate the Prague Red Devils’ new turf field.
McLoud will visit Harrah for the Redskins’ annual grudge match at 7 p.m. Friday.
North Rock Creek will travel to Little Axe for a 7 p.m. game on Thursday.
Davenport, which opened its season with a Zero Game at Oklahoma Bible, is idle this week.
