Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to approve submitting their Estimate of Needs for the current Fiscal Year to their budget maker, Wilson, Dotson and Associates.
County Clerk Alicia Wagnon explained, “This is what will go to them. It’s just the Estimate of Needs. We can always make changes,” she assured commissioners, noting, “This is not final.”
As presented, the total Estimate of Needs currently is $8.8 million.
Commissioners also adopted resolutions accepting the Pottawatomie County Rural Water District No. 3 water infrastructure project and establishing a project account within the ARPA fund.
They adopted a resolution accepting the NE Fire Department sewer infrastructure project and establishing a project account within the ARPA fund for it.
They approved forms and documentation for administrative expenses to Floyd & Driver, PLLC, for Pottawatomie County Rural Water District No. 3 and NE Fire Department for sewer infrastructure.
Commissioners took no action to move some ARPA fund requests to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority fund for consideration nor did they take any action on reviewing and narrowing down the ARPA Projects request list.
They approved renewal of a legal services agreement between the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and Floyd & Driver, PLLC, for legal services to be rendered in connection with the county’s expenditures and reporting obligations under the American Rescue Act of 2021 (ARPA) state and local recovery funds program.
In other business, commissioners: Approved a Sheriff’s application to the JAG-LEE grant for the purchase of nine ballistic vests.
Accepted grant awards from the Solid Waste Program for Districts 1, 2 and 3.
Adopted a resolution to participate in the Janssen OK Subdivision Opioid Settlement Agreement.
Approved a master service agreement with Apprentice for the Commissioners’ Courthouse Employees Office.
Took no action on discussing applicant requirements and salary pay for a new Safety Director.
Approved an agreement with Nextiva for courthouse phone service.
Tool no action on appointing a medical clinic to be used for work-related accidents and injuries.
Approved a P-Card approval form.
