Juanita Faye Stanfield was born September 20, 1943 to Adella (Davis) and James Spencer Stanfield in Luther, Oklahoma. She died October 21, 2022 at the age of 79.
She attended Dunbar Elementary School in Wellston, OK and graduated in 1961 from Wellston High School.
After completing her education, she worked as an administrative assistant for several companies before she began employment with Southwestern Bell where she worked for nearly 20 years in Oklahoma City and in Houston, TX. When she returned to Oklahoma in 1985, she continued to work in the clerical field for several years. Later, she provided home health services to senior citizens.
Her parents preceded her in death as well as her brothers, Kaiser and Donald Ray Stanfield, Sr. Survivors include her brothers: James “Sonny” (Monique) of Jones, OK; Ira (Phyllis), and Kenneth (Eva) of Wellston, OK; and Richard of Luther, OK; and sister: Diann Ealom of Wellston, OK; as well as other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 29, 2022 at the Successful Word Church in Warwick and interment followed in the Gardener Cemetery in Wellston. Arrangements were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
