Lincoln County commissioners during a special meeting recently approved the fiscal year budget for 2022-2023 and also approved a couple of grant applications.
Lincoln County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said the budget for 2022-2023 totals $13,081,448.66. She noted it includes a performance raise for all employees which could differ among them.
The commissioners also approved a REAP grant application for District 2 seeking $100,000. Wagnon said the estimated cost of the project is $130,000.
They also approved a Safe OK grant contract for $10,000 and related documents, she reported.
Commissioners rejected all bids for the sale of County Fair surplus items. They adopted a resolution for disposing of equipment for District No. 3. And commissioners agreed to allow a county burn ban to expire at noon on Oct. 31 based on expected rain last weekend.
