Rotarians of the Month announced

The Chandler Rotary Club has selected Sadie Sherman and Peyton Williams as the February Student Rotarians.

Sadie Sherman is the daughter of Bobby and Angie Sherman and has 3 older brothers. After High School, Sadie plans to attend Oklahoma Christian College and get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing then become an RN. Afterwards, she plans on working with Pediatric Oncology patients. She would also like to minor in youth ministry and missions with the possibility of coming back to her home church but also gives her the chance to go across the world.

Sadie has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and is currently enrolled in concurrent classes and AP English. She has received many awards and honors and very involved in her school and community. She is a member of FFA, National Honor Society, Student Council, Gifted and Talented, PSI, Positive Peers, Pom, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, YAHL, and yearbook. She is the Senior Class President, National Honor Society President, and has been the FFA President; Vice President; and Treasurer.

She has been part of many leadership programs such as Kaleo Leadership, Alumni leadership camp, Advanced Leadership Development, FFA Leadership Workshops, FFA Day at the capitol, and more.

Sadie has also done a lot of volunteer work such as Veteran Day Programs, Meals on Wheels, Chandler Friends Church VBS, Chandler Crawfish Boil, Relay for Life, Walk for Warriors, Angel Tree, Chandler Recycling, Food Pantry, Operation Christmas Child along with many other volunteer projects that she has been a part of.

Peyton Williams is the daughter of Brian and Autumn Williams and has one younger sister, Kelsey Williams.

After High School, Peyton plans to attend the Academy of Hair Design and become a cosmetologist.

Peyton is involved in many activities and organizations at school. She has helped with the crawfish boil for BancFirst last summer, she wrapped gifts and distributed them to young kids, was a part of the BancFirst Christmas float, and volunteered to help with the car seat check in the summer of 2022.

She is a member of PSI, Academic team, BPA, Positive Peers, YAHL, high school yearbook, BancFirst student board, and has also been a softball manager for 3 years and was a football manager her freshman year.
