True Sky Federal Credit Union is donating the Paseo Building in Davenport to Davenport schools for use by the Head Start program.
True Sky acquired the buiding during its recent merger with Central Oklahoma FederalCreditUnion.
Additionally, the credit union is donating labor to prepare the building for its new use.
Built in the 1940s, the building originally the local theater known as’‘Gem Theatre.’ It has also been run as an auction house and more recently as a doctor’s office.
True Sky Federal Credit Union will host an event at 10 a.m. on April 20 in front of the building, 202 Broadway, to hand over ownership of the building This event will feature speaker, donuts, coffee, True Sky swag and local vendors.
