Conspiracy charges have been filed against four persons in Lincoln County after an investigation found the four reportedly were trying to bring contraband into the jail.
Formal charges of conspiracy were filed in Lincoln County District Court March 29 against Randee Renea Schoolcraft, 34, Carney, James Michael Boyd, 36, Ilena Porter, 58, and Chris Raugh, 47.
The four are accused of between March 14 and 20 of conspiring to bring Contraband into the Lincoln County Jail by acting jointly, wrongfully and feloniously agreeing between themselves to commit conspiracy by packaging tobacco and marijuana and dropping it off at a location to be picked up by an inmate contrary to state statutes.
A $5,000 bond has been set for Schoolcraft.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Capt. Chuck Brewer said Schoolcraft bonded out of jail and Payne County authorities also had a warrant out for her arrest. He said she reportedly bonded out of there as well.
A $5,000 bench warrant was issued for the arrest of each of the other three even though Boyd is already in jail facing two other charges filed in Lincoln County District against him on Jan. 27 this year. On that date, he was charged with trafficking in illegal drugs and knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property, both felonies.
Special Judge Emily Mueller set a $50,000 bond for him in January. She has scheduled a preliminary hearing for Boyd on those charges at 1:30 p.m. on May 26.
