A motorist who was exiting the Turner Turnpike and was arrested and charged after he was stopped by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper on drug related charges has waived his preliminary hearing.
Gregory Johnson, 23, with no address listed, was formally charged Jan. 27 this year in Lincoln County District Court with trafficking in illegal drugs.
He appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk Jan. 23 and she set his bond at $100,000. He made an initial appearance on Jan. 30 before Judge Kirk and she scheduled the matter for March 16.
On April 14 before Special Judge Emily Mueller, he waived his preliminary hearing. She scheduled his arraignment for 9:30 a.m. May 2.
