A woman who entered a blind plea during the middle of her trial in February has been handed three lengthy prison terms.
Felony charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court April 4, 2022 against Angela Renee Gordon, 42, Claremore.
Court records show that Gordon was standing trial on two counts of lewd acts to a child under 12 and one for enabling child abuse.
On the second day of her jury trial, Gordon decided to enter a blind plea. District Judge Traci Soderstrom advised Gordon of her rights and that the charges are 85 percent crimes.
She appeared recently before Judge Soderstrom for her sentencing. After the victim read an impact statement, the judge pointed out the Court previously found Gordon guilty.
On count 1, the Judge sentenced Gordon to 30 years in the Department of Corrections plus court costs; on count 2, handed her another 30-year prison term plus court costs; and on count 3, 40 years in the Department of Corrections and assessed her a $5,000 fine, plus court costs.
The judge ordered that sentences on counts 1 and 2 to run concurrently with each other and consecutive with count 3. The judge further stated Gordon is to receive no credit for time served, advised her of the mandatory registry on the sex offender registry and that she is to follow all rules and conditions of the sex offender registry.
