Former Chandler Mayor Gene Imel received a light-hearted ‘compensation check’ for his 13 years of service to the City of Chandler last week during a special City Council meeting.
Approximately 40 people were in attendance as the city honored Imel and celebrated the swearing-in of new Mayor Kent McVey, new city councilmember David Burgess and city councilmember Robin Crouch.
