Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees this week approved several checks for settlements from damage due to storms and also approved the purchase and installation of two new air conditioning units for the Police Department.
Trustees approved a franchise check from OG&E in the amount of $29,681,25.
They approved a check for $10,283.58 for a portion of the surplus residue of the Resale Property Fund of Lincoln County.
Trustees approved a check for $13,335 for the settlement of $10,245 for the 2014 Dodge Charger and the settlement of the 2005 Crown Vic for the Police Department’s hail damaged vehicles.
They also approved a check in the amount of $5,493.30 for a settlement of hail damage to the Dodge Durango police unit.
Trustees approved the insurance settlement for the air conditioning unit at the Police Department in the amount of $14,000. Power surges from a storm on June 17, 2023 resulted in destruction of the AC unit at the Police station, it was reported.
They approved an invoice to Tri-County Air Solutions LLC for $15,000 for the purchase and installation of two air conditioning units for the Police Department.
Meeting as the Public Works Authority, Trustees reapproved the notice of award and agreement for a project on water system improvements with Sunrise Construction, LLC in the amount of $60,000.
