Early voting for the White Rock School District bond issue election begins today, Aug. 3, Lincoln County Election Board Secretary Melissa Stambaugh Early voting is available Thursday, August 3, and Friday, August 4th, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lincoln County Courthouse located at 811 Manvel Avenue, in Chandler.
Stambaugh said that early voting is not available at polling locations.
Voting on Aug. 8 takes place only at voters’ precincts.
School District patrons will decide a $280,000 bond issue for roof damage from storms.
A person is paying $1,000 in taxes now, that will increase $132.96 a year or $11.08 a month if it passes, School Supt. Alicia Ebers said.
