Teens injured in shooting

Two teenagers were reportedly injured in a shooting north of Chandler late Friday night and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two male subjects as persons of interest.

Three women have been arrested on felony charges, though at this time they are not believed to be involved in the shooting.

Lincoln County Sheriff Sgt. Aaron Bennett said the Sheriff’s Office was dispatched just before midnight to a call of shots fired north of Chandler off of 860 Road. He said two juveniles were taken by vehicle to the Cushing Emergency room with non-life threatening injuries.

Bennett said names of the two teens shot are being withheld because they are minors.

He reported also that as of earlier in the week the two shooting suspects are still unidentified.

Bennett said three women were arrested on felony charges of hosting a social gathering with alcohol for juveniles resulting in bodily harm.

He identified the three arrested as Ashlyn Marie Robinson, 20, Janet Katelynn Nichole Hyde, 20, and Angela Elida Dawn Lopez, 23, all of Chandler.

Bennett said those three are not believed to be involved in the shooting.

He asks people having any information on the shooting to call Lincoln County Communications, 405-258-9933 and they may remain anonymous.

Bennet said people may leave an anonymous tip at www.lincolncountysheriffok. gov under the resources tab.
