All six area football teams are in action Friday, with two Lincoln County rivalries headlining the schedule.
Chandler visits Stroud for a 7 p.m. kickoff and Prague motors west on Highway 62 to face ancient rival Meeker at 7.
North Rock Creek hosts Little Axe, McLoud goes to Harrah and Davenport hosts Caddo at 7:30.
Prague and Davenport opened last Friday in Zero Week, with Prague beating Luther and Davenport falling to Oklahoma Bible.
Stroud, which returns almost all of its starters from last year’s state quarterfinal team, will look to stop a three-year streak of lop-sided losses to Chandler, having fallen by counts of 57-9, 53-0 and 48-0. The Tigers’ last win over Chandler was by 26-8 four years at home.
In addition to immense bragging rights, the winner gets to claim the Historic Route 66 Bedlam Classic traveling trophy, sponsored by BancFirst.
