The trial for a woman who was employed as a full time in-home nurse and charged with child abuse has been continued until the May jury docket.
Candice Elizabeth Bootenhoff, 39, of Luther was formally charged Oct. 31, 2022 in Lincoln County District Court with felony child abuse. She was arrested by Lincoln County deputies.
Her bond was set at $25,000 and she made her initial appearance on Dec. 1.
At the conclusion of her preliminary hearing last July, she was bound over to stand trial. Judge Mueller scheduled her arraignment for last Sep. 19.
