Chandler Board of Education

Chandler Board of Education members this week approved the calendar for the 2024/2025 school year and also voted to approve the 2022/2023 audit report presented by Ralph Osborn’s CPA firm.

School Supt. Scott Baade stated the student dropout report for 2022 was 2.10 percent.

He said the board reorganized itself, electing Joseph Irby president and Tony Lee as vice president. The board appointed Kristy Cunningham as clerk of the board.

Board members approved a contract with “Fire Safety Inspections” for the annual inspection of all fire systems and the annual fire system monitoring, Baade reported.

In other business, the board members: Approved a contract with ADPC for basic accounting software services for the 2024/2025 school year.

Approved the agreement with Employee Evaluation Systems, Inc., for the Oklahoma Teacher Leader Effectiveness teacher evaluation program for the 2024/2025 school year.

Voted to allow the 2024 Senior Class to attend an out-of-state trip to Dallas, Texas on May 16, 2024.

Voted to pay qualified National Board-Certified Staff members a bonus stipend of $5,000 less the required state and federal withholdings. Those qualifying include Dana Key and Randee Gray.

Approved Ryan Haley as a lay coach for baseball.
