An investigation has been launched into alleged possible embezzlement by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI). Public Information Manager Hunter McKee confirmed that they had been asked to investigate by the Davenport Police.
He said it was still early and could not comment on the details of the investigation as the OSBI is not sure just what they have yet.
The Town of Davenport also confirmed that there is an investigation.
No charges have been filed at this point, and the OSBI does not release names involved until official charges have been filed.
