Every month, Wellness Dep. Rod Baker from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office releases the Lincoln County Recovery Report to keep residents informed of ongoing activities and programs to help with mental health recovery efforts in the county. The following is the May 2026 report.
The month of May has been focused on the consistency of established Recovery home groups and adapting up-to-date mental health procedures and available resources for the afflicted. There is a growing recognition for veterans throughout Lincoln County with addiction issues and PTSD difficulties. There is the establishment of a new Recovery meeting in Carney starting in June, along with Recovery meetings in Stroud scheduled for Monday, TuesdayandWednesdayeveningsat7p.m. to be held at the Stroud American Legion starting on June 8. We are coordinating with Chandler A.A. to establish a new Recovery meeting in Chandler.
