Max McGee was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on June 25, 1934 to the late O.D. McGee and Grace (Stone) McGee.
He passed from this life at his residence on June 24, 2026 at the age of 91years, 11 months, and 30 days. Max was raised and educated in Davenport and was a graduate of Davenport High School. He married Faye Murray on June 13, 1953 and they made their home in several towns throughout Oklahoma and Texas before returning to settle in Oklahoma. Max had worked in the oil fields as a diesel mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing – playing games – and watching the OKC Thunder.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his WIFE: Faye McGee in 2016; a GRANDDAUGHTER: Christena; and seven brothers and sisters. His remaining family includes his CHILDREN: Max McGee, Jr. – Teresa Easter – Sondra Storozyszyn–TammyWalter;GRANDCHILDREN: David – Michael – Felicia – Gene – Michael – Natalie – Dawn –Ashley ; Adam; 13 Great Grandchildren – 20 Great Great Grandchildren; PLUS several Nieces – Nephews – Cousins - other relatives and friends.
