Madelyn Bridge, Carley Frazier and Blaklei Smith have been named the Lions of the Month for September by the Chandler Lions Club.
Madelyn Bridge is the daughterofSarahandDoug Bridge. She has a 4.0 GPA and is ranked first in her class.
Bridge is in her fourth year in AP English and has completed one semester of concurrent enrollment with Rose State College. She is currently enrolled in concurrent classes with the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Oklahoma Honor Society.
Bridge was the sophomore class president, junior class president and is currently the senior class president. She is also the National Honor Society president and Student Council vice-president. She attended the High School Leadership Conference in February 2026 and the Oklahoma Association of Student Councils Basic Session in July 2026. She wasselectedasamemberof theOklahomaHallofFame Teen Board member, a delegate to attend Girls State and as a delegate to Youth Leadership Oklahoma.
Bridge’s other clubs and activities include Positive Peers, PSI, BPA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Fish Club, Cross Country, Track, Basketball and Junior High Student Council. In Cross Country, she was an individual state qualifier in 2023, 2024 and 2025. In Track, she qualified for State individually in 2025 and as part of the 4x800 meter relay in 2025.
Bridge’s community involvement includes being a member of the Chandler First Baptist Church youth group and volunteering for the Lincoln County Partnership for Child Well Being. She has also worked with John Talley Leadership Skills, the Veterans’ Day program, Adopt and Shop program, the Lincoln County Historical Society and Museum of Pioneer History and was an usher for the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony.
After graduation, Bridge plans to attend college and pursue a dual major in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Management. While in university, she hopes to become involved in a sorority, participate in volunteer opportunities and study abroad.
Carley Frazier is the daughter of Eric and Hayley Frazier. She has a 3.98 GPA and is ranked 15th in her class.
She’s taken one year of Advanced English and is a member of the National Honor Society. Frazier was in Junior High Honor Society for two years and received Academic Excellence awards for five years. She is also a Peer Mentor and the president of the Chandler chapter of the Business Professionals of America.
Frazier’s other clubs and organizations include varsity cheer, varsity softball manager, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, varsity golf, varsity football manager, Postponing Sexual Involvement, Positive Peers, Chandler Rotary Club and yearbook.
Her community involvement includes helping serve ice cream at the Hiland Ice Cream Festival, helping with the school’s Relay for Life fundraisers for football and basketball, teaching cheers at an elementary school cheer clinic and decorating teachers’ doors for Red Ribbon Week. She has also volunteered at the elementary school library, provided Christmas gifts for DHS Adopt a Kid, worked with Operation Christmas Kid, helped run a camp in Kansas and decorate for VBS with Chandler First Baptist Church, worked the gate and concessions at a stunt tournament, worked concessions for the junior class, organized and graded papers for elementary school teachers, volunteered at a local food pantry and helped raise funds for a local classmate going through chemo treatments. She’s also volunteered at the community Halloween Carnival with Chandler Cheer, made cards for nursing home residents, taken part in Chandler Recycles, helped run a local powerlifting meetandhelpedwith Wise Guy, Girl Power.
After graduation, Frazier plans to attend college.
Blaklei Smith is the daughter of Melissa and JeremySmith.Shehasa4.0 GPA and is ranked first in her class. She has attended Advanced English for four years and is a member of theNationalHonorSociety.
She is a certified nursing assistant, has CPR certification and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society. As a fastpitch softball player, Smith helped her team become OSSAA 3A state runner-up, the OSSAA 3A Academic Champions and a state semifinalist. She has been named an outstanding student in Health Careers at Gordon Cooper Technology Center, placed third in the Hiland Dairy scholarship and is Home Health Aide certified. She is also a member of the National Technical Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, BLS certified, FirstAid certified and an Honorary Junior.
She attended Positive Peers Leadership Camp and is a HOSA parliamentarian.
Her clubs and organizations include basketball, softball, track and field, Positive Peers, Powerlifting, pom, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Postponing Sexual Involvement, HOSA competitor, Chandler First Baptist youth member and an Edmond LifeChurchmember.
Smith’s community involvement includes assisting in the cooking station at Wise Guy, Girl Power, and volunteering with the Lincoln County Historical Society and Museum of Pioneer History, Miracle League Baseball, Regency Nursing Home, Chandler Recycles, Operation Christmas Child, the veterans lunch at the American Legion, the Veterans’ Assembly, Diaper Drive, the local elementary school, Dirty Drinks Fundraiser and Earth Day trash pickup. She has also made cards for nursing home residents, given out turkeys for Thanksgiving at Helping Hands and provided for the Angel Tree.
After graduation, Smith plans to attend Oklahoma Baptist University for nursing school.While attending OBU, she plans to work at a hospital or nursing home using her CNA to cover fees.
