Former Lincoln County resident David Albert Perry was born November 3, 1945, in Agra and died Friday, December 27, 2019, at his home in Cookson, Okla. He was 74 years old.
Perry, the son of Chris Albert and Alma Faye (Siden) Perry, married Virginia Pearl Kirkpatrick in 1964. Following her death in 1990, he married Sandra Lee Hutchison on May 22, 1993.
A 1964 graduate of Carney High School, he retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for Payne County. He was a member of Drumright First Baptist Church in Drumright, Okla.
In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, his son Thomas, and his brother Dallas Perry.
Survivors include his wife Sandy of Cookson; his children and their spouses, Michael and Trish Perry of Chandler, Donna and Doug Moran of Drumright, DeeDee and Joey McEntire of Agra, Lisa Burton and Sandra Epperley of Cookson, Mary and John Tate of Arkansas, and Greg and Julie Roberts of Drumright.
He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers and their spouses, Don and Brenda Perry of Stillwater, Okla., Darrell Perry and Dewey and Jackie Perry, all of Carney, and Dennis and Lisa Perry of Edmond, Okla.; and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Drumright First Baptist Church with burial following at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Chandler. Arrangements were under the direction of Michael’s Funeral Home in Drumright.
