Stella Louise Schmidt-Fisher was born December 18, 1946, in Oklahoma City. She died Monday, March 2, 2020, in Yukon, Okla., at the age of 73 years.
Schmidt-Fisher, who attended Wellston Public Schools, was a homemaker and worked as the resident cake decorator at Homeland Grocery Store.
Preceding her in death were her father Louie Henry Schmidt, her husband Jimmie Lee Fisher and her brother Don Schmidt.
Survivors include her mother Audra Lorene Schmidt; three sons, three daughters and their spouses, Larry and Kyla Fisher of Prague, Tammy and Bobby Copeland of Oklahoma City, Teresa Day of Shawnee, Okla., and Robert Fisher, Christopher Fisher, and Connie and Jason Rowlett, all of Yukon.
She is also survived by two sisters, Leona Thorpe and Laveda Butler and her husband Bob, all of Wellston; daughter-in-law Jana and spouse Frank Chastain of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
A funeral service was held Saturday, March 7, 2020, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston, which handled the final arrangements. Burial followed at Carney Cemetery.
