Calvin Ray Warren of Wellston was born December 31, 1932, in Kinta, Okla. He died Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Stillwater, Okla., at the age of 87 years.
Warren, the son of General and Hazel Cooper, was raised by his grandparents Will Warren and Dora Wehunt. He married Melba Faye Toles in 1972.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a skilled upholstery specialist.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents; his parents; two sisters, Lola Mae Warren and Elsie Benton; and his brothers, Dallas Cooper, Adam Cooper and Jim Cooper; and son-in-law Thomas Ikenouye.
Survivors include his wife Melba Warren of the home; his daughters, Debbie Marr and Wanda Ikenouye; his brother John Cooper; two sisters, Dora Mae Dennis and Loretta Taylor; his brother and sisters-in-law, Roy and Loretta Toles and Norma Toles; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Services were held Monday, April 6, 2020, with final arrangements under the direction of Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater.
