Jonothan Zane Cooper Sr. was born November 25, 1947, in Fort Gibson, Okla. He died Sunday, May 31, 2020, in Depew, Okla., at the age of 72 years.
Cooper, the son of Preston and Lena (Smith) Cooper, married Linda Medlin on September 11, 1964, in Stillwell, Okla.
He was the pastor of Valley View Church of God in Depew.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his sisters Patricia Woodard-Howard and Nelda Gaye Cooper and his brother Thomas Riley Cooper.
Survivors include his wife Linda Cooper of Depew; his son and daughter-in-law, Jonothan Jr. and Tomoko Cooper of Depew; his daughters , Zanna Guinn of Tulsa and LeAnn Reinhardt and Tony Arellano of Stroud; his brother Faron Cooper of Florida; eight grandchildren and their spouses; eight greatgrandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Valley View Church of God in Depew. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
