Motorists experienced minor disruptions to traffic on Hwy 18 just outside of Chandler last week due to routine road maintenance.
Segments of the highway were temporarily narrowed to one lane to allow for patching work.
County superintendent with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Jerry Hacker said there will be similar additional maintenance on Hwy 18 closer to Meeker that he hopes will be completed by the end of the month.
