The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department recently launched a new website. This allows for individuals to access information about the Sheriff’s office, sheriff sales, cold cases, sex offenders and information regarding most wanted fugitives.
“The inmate search also provides friends and family access to commissary and visitation information as well as links to access resources provided by these inmate services,” according to a press release sent out by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s department. “Also, part of the inmate search is a direct link to Vine, allowing notifications for inmate status.”
This website is mobile friendly and also allows for the public to submit completely anonymous tips regarding local crime.
One of the options when using the “tipster” function, allows for the anonymous tipper to be contacted by the sheriff’s office in order to follow up on the tip if the individual so chooses.
“Our SafeCam registration program is also included,” according to the same press release. “This program allows residents and businesses in the county to register if they have security cameras at their location. If a crime happens where security footage would help, we will have a list of resources to contact to help solve the crime.”
The website can be found at https://www.lincolncountysheriffok.gov/
