The number of people testing positive for COVID-19 in Lincoln County has bumped to the 300 mark this week.
In Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties, the positive numbers combined now stand at 1,175 as of Tuesday, according to the Oklahoma State Department of of Health.
The combined number in the two counties three weeks ago stood at 633.
As of Tuesday, Lincoln County has recorded 303 positive cases of the virus, there have been eight deaths and 245 have recovered.
Pottawatomie County’s numbers on Tuesday stood at 872 positives, nine deaths and 623 recovered.
Statewide, 59,399 have tested positive, there have been 809 deaths and 49,989 who have recovered.
Three weeks ago, the number of positives statewide stood at 44,728.
The statewide number of deaths three weeks ago attributed to the virus stood at 618.
As of Tuesday, there have been 827,513 who have tested negative, the OSDH reports. And 535 were currently hospitalized, the agency said.
On Tuesday of this week, the OSDH reported 666 new positive cases were confirmed and nine more persons had died.
