The Chandler Area Chamber of Commerce will meet for their first monthly luncheon in several months at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 13 at First Christian Church in Chandler.
The caterer will be Big Willy’s. If you plan to attend the luncheon, RSVP by calling (405) 258-0673 as soon as possible. Meal cost is $12.
Guest speaker will be Chandler Tag Agent Cheryl Rozell Raper. She will present information on the Oklahoma REAL ID program.
Those planning to fly domestically or access federal facilities or military bases after Oct. 1, 2021, must have a REAL ID compliant license or identification card or other acceptable form of identification such as a passport.
Raper, a lifetime resident of Chandler, is a 1985 graduate of Chandler High School. She has twice served as Chandler Alumni President.
Before being appointed in 2007 by Senator Harry Coats as the Chandler Tag Agent, she worked as a legal secretary for Judge Cynthia Ferrell Ashwood.
Cheryl has been involved with the Community Free Thanksgiving Meal for more than 20 years.
Cheryl has two sons, Joshua and wife Mersadez and grandson Mark and son Jacob who all reside in Chandler.
